We interviewed Jim Woodring recently. He had some great pearls of wisdom to share with us. Here's a sample: "The more I try to put something in there that means something to me, or that I think is a clever idea, the flatter it falls. And the more I am struck by an idea that just occurs to me, that I had nothing to do with and I can't take credit for, the better it is."
We got a sneak peak of a few of his drawing for his upcoming graphic novel "Fran." He actually was working on one of the drawings as we talked to him. It was an honor to spend time with him and to get to see his studio where he creates his amazing art.
